Eric Huurre brings three decades of creative development, media production, fund raising and project management expertise to his work as a creative director and media producer. His production company is Skywriter Communications. Founded in 1989, Skywriter is an independent media production company based in Toronto, Ontario with U.S. offices in Grand Island, N.Y. and clients and associates worldwide. Skywriter forms strategic alliances to underwrite and deliver social-issue media to young audiences in partnership with communities of interest, marketers and media outlets. Through Skywriter, Eric is currently producing and directing two major documentary films on EFT with Gary Craig. Eric is dedicated to creating entertaining and enlightening communication to help young people improve themselves, their communities and the environment. He is an advocate for adolescent’s and children’s rights through various youth-oriented non-profits including: The Emoto Project; The Childrens' Aid Foundation and Love Our Children USA. His current youth initiatives include eft4Kids and Rap,Tap,Zap! Eric pursues his love of nature and a respect for the environment with the same passion he exhibits in his work in media production.
