tapping out a child's scary monsters

I was recently watching cartoons on TV with my friends five year old twins, a boy and a girl.  Suddenly, the little boy asked if I would turn the TV off or switch channels, I asked him why and he replied that there was a scary monster on the TV (a new character had come into the cartoon).  I asked him what scared him and he said the voice and the eyes, I immediately started tapping on the points with him and whilst tapping I asked him how scared he was, he replied "all the way up to the sky".  We did three quick rounds of tapping, we tapped on "scared", "scary eyes" and "scary voice".  The little boy then asked if we could stop now as he wanted to watch the rest of the cartoon.  I offered to change channels but he said no, that he wasn't scared anymore.
The twins parents were amazed that such a simple technique as EFT could have such dramatic results, they reported that there were no nightmares that night,  whereas normally such a "scary monster" would have stayed with him until bed time.

Isn't EFT a wonderful tool to have, especially at such a young age.

    Marian,

EFT is a wonderful tool.  With all of the children I work with, no matter what they come to me for, I will always address monsters, aliens, or other scary creatures if there is time at the end of their visit.  Those images on TV have such a strong and lasting impact on children.  So much energy is wasted on this fear, needlessly.  We are so fortunate to have EFT.  Don't you wish it were around when we were kids?

    Thanks for sharing your story.
