Using EFT on high functioning autistic child

I've just started using EFT and am learning a lot and healing a lot. My daughter is high functioning autistic and is healing from it using various alternative and traditional methods but her communication issues make it very difficult to understand how she feels sometimes. She is not becoming completely potty trained even though she physically is able to hold her urine and poo all day (has done so to avoid the potty in the past). I feel that she has an emotional block of some sort.

I will tap myself on this issue but I would also know how would one tap a child who can't really communicate very well? I haven't been able to figure out her emotions on potty training thus far.

Also, is there a step-by-step on doing EFT on a child with regard to what points to use? I'm sure she won't let me tap her face.

    Dear Jen,.

Although this may seem like a challenge, I would suggest deep surrogate work. I can only suggest that you initiate any type of surrogate work by working intently on your own feelings and deep frustration about it all on yourself. You have seen things shift with EFT,. you know it does do 'something' so give it this approach and go deep within yourself and find your blocks and tap on them for a while. You might even get a tapping buddy for this in order to clear in a deeper way.

Please do let me know if you have manged to shift something. Potty training is mostly a holding on issue, but there just as well might be other issues.
