    Success after fall from bunkbed

I am pretty new to all this but have already had a bit of success. The latest was last night. My 4 yr old was horsing around in the dark on his bunkbed and fell off (the first time he has ever fallen off a bed). He hit his bottom and the side of knee on the way down but thankfully his fall was broken by a teddy bear (he landed on his shoulder and head). After making sure that nothing was broken, I took my crying child into my room and put him on my bed to inspect him more. He had huge red marks on his knee and bottom that were already slightly blue. I asked him how big the owies were and he put out his arms really wide 'This BIG!' and then I tapped him for the owies and that he wouldn't feel scared anymore. It only took one round and he said the owies were all gone and jumped down and ran and got up in his bed and went to sleep and heard nothing of him till morning. In the morning, there were absolutely no bruises, only a small scrape on his bottom and no pain. And he was happy. When daddy (who had been at work when this all happened) asked what had happened, he just said he fell down and went back to playing.

    Whew!

    Hello Kashida,

    Welcome to the forum.

Great work. Well done. It's just such a wonderful first aid kit with so many uses. Cheap and no side effects!
