    Questions

I have been recently exposed to EFT...Great!... I would like to know if EFT has been used with Autistic children and children with leaning disabilities and behavioral problems? I have two sisters who work ith kids with these problems.   Thanks for the help.    Dave Vanier

Ann Adams is the Campus Director at a residential care facility for Severely Emotionally Disturbed children.  If you follow the link below and do a search on emofree you will find lots of information about her work.

    Re: Questions

    Hello Davlo,

We have worked with one autistic boy.  His mother has been taught EFT and does proxy tapping for him.  She has been using it for about 2 months and feels that there have been noticeable changes in his behavior.  He is calmer and better settled at his new school.

She taps about 3 to 4 times a day, for specific issues such as his "repeating everything 3 times" and "throwing a tantrum if his demands are not met".  The general statement used is "Even though___ has ______, I deeply and completely love, forgive and accept him".

We have also suggested that she tap on her own fears, frustrations, etc. as I believe that the strong mother-son bond would influence each other's energy systems.

The encouraging results have prompted us to approach a special school for autistic children.   They are open to training their teachers in EFT.  We hope to do a workshop for them, before the end of this year and then perhaps have more positive reports to share!

    Warm Regards,
