    Pacifier / Dummy success!

Hi. I learned some EFT from youtube almost a year ago now.  It has been a great help in some pretty tricky situations.  But, by far, the most outwardly obvious success has been in getting my baby off the pacifier.

I never expected that he would be totally addicted to it.  I was really getting concerned about his dental health because his teeth were growing in such a way that he could not bite with his front teeth.

We lost the pacifier one night (before learning EFT) and after an hour of sobbing and searching we went to the supermarket and had to buy him an identical one.

We lost it again a month later (just after finding out about EFT).   I was prepared for the sobbing and the late night dash to the supermarket again.  But I just tapped him to "see if it'd work".  He still sobbed after I tapped, but, as I dressed him to take him to the shops he got distracted.   He later happily fell asleep in my arms without it!  I shrugged it off as just exhaustion and waited for the morning when he'd really need it.  But he went through the whole day without asking.  The night came and he asked for it.  I thought we would be really upset so I tapped again.  He fell asleep again in my arms!  Yeah!   He has never had it since.  I have never had to tap him again.  His teeth have restored their natural bite now too.

I cannot get over how easy that was.  I sit here thinking of how good it was for him that it was a smooth transition.

    Well done,

So, you managed to calm baby down, get him to sleep and off the dummy !!! Not bad ehh!!

Tapping on baby's points is very relaxing for them even it seems in this situation when he was quite agitated. Without exception all my client parents report that that their very young children are relaxed with tapping. Ideally it is good to get a young person associating tapping with nice times - relaxing and quiet and with the best intention set. Many parents have reported to me that their very young children KNOW when they need / want tapping for something that is bothering them as they know it helps them to relax, calm down. This is often prior to a young person being able to verbalise their feelings clearly. The new generation of tappers. How empowering !

Hey really very very nice to know that little one responded so well to the tapping. This confirms the ever growing success of EFT with the kids.
