    Collecting support data

    Hello...

Wondering if anyone out there has taken a empirical approach to working with children and teenagers? I work with children, teenagers and families as a psychologist, and I am interested in establishing an argument that is founded on empirical data to use in schools and youth organisations.

I am thinking that there would be a much better opportunity for schools, community organisations, and government agencies to consider the use of Energy Psychology and especially EFT if they had hard data from working with children and young people.

    with thanks,

    Paul Dunne

    Re: Collecting support data

    Hello Paul,

    Welcome to the forum.

Glad you have opened this topic for discussion. Until recently, little empirical data has been collated in the area of EFT and children and young people. I have a book for publication due out later in the year on the application and success of EFT with all young age groups.

I have access to reams and reams of verbal and written feedback that is impressive. We have created a programme of workshops and taster for children of all ages and it is being implemented in UK schools, communities and organisations (slowly). I am collecting also past data from other sources of the great benefits of EFT with CYP. There is a need to present systematic material as you say.

I readily invite any schools, organisations and agencies to take a closer look and benefit from EFT expertise. On offer is a vetted and trained team of specialist young people's EFT practitioners for a variety of age groups and issues. We will match your needs closely. In exchange all we ask is for permission for simple empirical data to be collated. Typical applications can be for troubled groups, learning difficulites, confidence, self esteem, test anxiety - the list is endless. Full information is available, please feel free to contact me.

As an aside, I have plans to meet up with Dawson Church soon to review some of the measures his team have been collating in his research, although any data collated with CYP will be much simplier (as his work is with adults).

In the meantime, I encourage you Paul and other contributors to this forum to help make these relatively simple plans a reality.

I think if you browse this forum you would find several real time experiences of many parents who successfully used tapping to comfort their kids and it brought about a lot of change in their behavioral patterns. In most cases they became less nagging, learn new things and could sleep peacefully.
