Night terrors are hardly ever recalled. Even though the person will seem terrified and can sometimes even have a conversation with you they are usually still in a deep state of sleep. They may be able to look around the room and misinterpret the furniture for scary objects, monsters , etc.
I can throughoughly recommend using EFT for helping a young person or anyone who has night terrors in an attempt to encourage a peaceful night sleep. The routine of the bedtime tuck can be done with any young person as part of their settling down routine.I think that it is this site in a previous post. If you cannot find it, email me back.
Another point to mention is a little tapping for how you feel about the night terrors can be helpful for yourself perhaps. "Even though I worry that .....will keep getting these night terrors, I ....." Even though, I am worried that these night terrors will affect........, I accept..."
