I recently saw the documentary film Autism - The Musical. In this film a courageous mother takes on the unlikely challenge of working with a collection of autistic adolescents and teens to create a stage show. Her success is likely measured more in the determination shown than in any significant, long term improvements in the young people, but I couldn't help wondering what would have been the outcome had someone like our Deborah Miller, or Christine Morin, or Jan Yordy, or any of the other pioneering EFT practitioners working with children and teaching them EFT had been a part of that project.
Throughout the world there are institutions, clinics, schools and youth groups of many kinds trying to education, heal, discipline, coach and otherwise positively influence the lives of the young people in their care. With the progress that some are making using EFT the day is approaching when adults concerned about the welfare of their chldren will automatically add EFT to the tools and resources they use. The work being profiled on these pages is a testimony to this movement.
If you know of a organization that could benefit from an introduction to EFT why not point them to the many resources and information sources now online including these discussions and the practitioners who are sharing their experiences here. Just as our membership is growing through the efforts of our moderators, so will those we can inform about EFT and that can only help many more children in so many more circumstances of need.
