Hi, I wanted to share this story with you in case any of you ever find yourself in this situation.
At the end of last year my son's teacher informed me that the school felt Jack would need to repeat the year. He hadn't been able to get all of his work done and they felt he would struggle if he went up with the rest of the class.
I was devasted. I though somehow I had failed him. Now, I'm a Life Coach and a law of attraction practitioner (which means I know how to create my ideal life). How could this have happened?
Well, we're now a few weeks into the new school year and I know excactly why this happened. What a change. My son is so much happier than ever before and so confident. He's getting all his work done in plenty of time and thoroughly enoying school life. He's now the kid everyone wants to play with and I know this was the best thing that could have happened to him.
So please, If this happens to you, just go with the flow. Trust the schools opinion and you'll more than likely be so grateful it happened and your child will come on leaps and bounds in all areas.
There is no stigma attatched, like there is in UK. It's no big deal and many of the spanish kids repeat at some stage too. It's just how it works here. I wanted to share this experience with you to save any heartache in the future.
Best wishes
Wendy
