I have a question regarding my 11 year old daughter’s left kidney. Is it possible to use EFT to improve the function of her left kidney, as it’s only working a quarter of what it’s supposed to, because it is hydronephrotic. A couple of years ago she had an operation to remove some of the damaged tissues on the kidney and the surgeon also moved 2 veins that was pressing on her urinary tract causing the bloating and infections, but it still does not work properly or get better and is still a bit hydronephrotic, but doesn’t cause infections anymore. Expected says her surgeon, but I wonder since she is still young and if cells in our body really can be regenerated, would it be possible to improve the function of her kidney by using EFT and prevent it from further deteriorating over time and prevent it from having to be removed at some point?

I know I have to work with her on some emotional issues as well, as her illness goes back to when she first started school, where she often had unexplained stomachaches, but we didn't find the cause until she started having urinary tract infections a couple of years later. So she may possibly have had pain all this time prior to the infection, but learnt to live with it, as unfortunately we didn't bring her to a specialist earlier, as she stopped complaining after a while and we thought it was nerves of starting school or from eating chewing gum etc, as she was happy when she was home and it didn't seem so bad that it prompted us to see a doctor, which we of course painfully regret. When she grew older she told me that often she had stomachaches and had vomited in school, but the school never called us to pick her up from school or informed us about what had happened, which would have prompted us to act, but they just left her resting on a pillow during school hours and she didn’t tell us about it, maybe because she was too small. She has now moved to a new school and although she is doing well, she is experiencing some emotional issues that I intend to help her with using EFT.

I hope anyone can give me some ideas on how to help my daughter and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

I am totally new to this tapping and seem to be hesitating in trying it on "Everything" as I am not sure about what to say. Seems people are repeating the negative stuff all the time and I wondered if they ever reapeated positive stuff instead. Also . . . What is the tapping on the head and where on the head are they tapping? I ask because:

Last week, my newborn grandson came over and we started out having a good time. Then he started crying allof a sudden and my son said he was being a bit fussy lately and attributed it to a belly ache. My husband patted him on the back and carried him around until he exhausted himself and finally fell asleep. I couldn't help but wonder if I could have tapped away his trouble.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of thing? And since a baby cannot talk . . . what do you say when you tap?
Thanks,

It was like meeting a good old friend for the first time. since, he is a guest at my table three meals a day and still very welcome. I would like to tell you how I have integrated EFT into my work. In 1995 I have joined a group of artists who had in mind to experiment the use of theatre as a complimentary educational tool, Outside and within the conventional schooling system. Since we have developed a method using the basic tools of theatre as a discipline to help integrate different groups of the population, who normally wouldn't have the chance to actively interact. Students from so-called black schools with their white school homologues. students from schools in the suburbs with students from central town, children in refugee centres with children from a local native school, etc. The concept is quite simple. we come with a ready-made theatre peace and in a five days intensive workshop we have the children perform on a professional stage in front of an audience. our website www.zinzien.nl is in touch, the English and French versions are still under construction. However I have the text translations, these can be sent if requested.

Sounds stressful for the children? well surprisingly enough they are like fish to water with our method. except for some individuals, this is where EFT comes in with great efficiency. When a child gets angry or becomes anxious and starts crying or goes into a hectic behavior, I take him/her to the side and aske him/her to tell me what's going on. While they are telling me, I hold their hand and tap gently on the gamet point or wrist while surrogate tapping all the points, intuitively testing there openness to the process. If receiving a positive(which is usually the case), I proceed to gentle tapping on highbrow, side of the eye, under the eye and under the arm, all while keeping hold of their hand. In most cases the results are immediate, tears stop, the facial expression relaxes , the breathing regulates and deepens. eventually the child seems to have this pleasantly surprised look of ''what happened?'' for the rest of the workshop day, While participating with ease in the workprocess. One of the principles and workshop conditions is that the regular teachers of the students will participate in the workshop as an equal member of the group. You can imagine that this might bring up a few issues and major migraines. no worries, they where EFTed away as well. Naturally, this creates interest, which I have learned to answer channeling my enthusiasm into digestible metaphors, allowing some of those new ideas to grab hold.
Project I’m in the process of initiating, called ''greenhouses effect''. These are ecological homes spread across Europe, to be educational centres for energy self-sufficiency. Energy self-sufficiency, not only on the level of wind and water energy, solar panels, cradle to cradle http://www.mbdc.com/ materials , etc, but also , personal energy management, using EFT as a key opening the door to a large spectrum of biomagnetic-energy management tools. These homes will be the beating heart of teams formed in each region delivering on a regular basis workshops to different groups of children inside and outside the conventional educational system, using our method and its complimentary benefits. These homes, I call them homes because those centres are run by a family residing at location. These homes will allow people to examine the possibility of environmental friendly lifestyle whether the environment is external or internal.

He promised

how to tap. He created his own community of support that uses EFT to
feel better. All this at the age of 12.

I called to find out how he was doing. It was so emotional to touch

In this film a courageous mother takes on the unlikely challenge of working with a collection of autistic adolescents and teens to create a stage show. Her success is likely measured more in the determination shown than in any significant, long term improvements in the young people, but I couldn't help wondering what would have been the outcome had someone like our Deborah Miller, or Christine Morin, or Jan Yordy, or any of the other pioneering EFT practitioners working with children and teaching them EFT had been a part of that project.

Throughout the world there are institutions, clinics, schools and youth groups of many kinds trying to education, heal, discipline, coach and otherwise positively influence the lives of the young people in their care. With the progress that some are making using EFT the day is approaching when adults concerned about the welfare of their chldren will automatically add EFT to the tools and resources they use. The work being profiled on these pages is a testimony to this movement.

If you know of a organization that could benefit from an introduction to EFT why not point them to the many resources and information sources now online including these discussions and the practitioners who are sharing their experiences here. Just as our membership is growing through the efforts of our moderators, so will those we can inform about EFT and that can only help many more children in so many more circumstances of need.

One more myth busted about medication in autism

According to a research funded by government celexa, a medicine often given to autistic kids,is not really effective.Because the purpose of a good and effective medicine is to bring about profound change in the anxiety levels which celexa has failed to do.

Here is a short excerpt:

"
While there is no specific treatment or 'cure' for Asperger's Syndrome, there are many interventions that can significantly improve the functioning and quality of life of people and children with Asperger's. It is important to properly classify the condition and remember that it is not Asperger's disease, but rather a syndrome.

Herbal and homeopathic remedies can be viable alternatives to synthetic drugs and may be just as effective, with far fewer risks and side effects.

It is important that you only use natural remedies from a reliable source, as the quality of herbs used as well as methods of preparation may affect the strength and effectiveness of the remedy.

Depending on the symptoms that need treatment, certain herbal ingredients such as St. John’s Wort, Melissa officinalis, Passiflora, and Chamomile, among others, may be recommended as part of a holistic treatment plan.

Natural remedies may often contain a combination of ingredients for best effect. A holistic treatment plan aims to address the underlying cause of the problem and does not just treat the symptoms in isolation. In this way, it provides an all-around approach to greater well-being.

So i am sharing meanings of few of the popular abbreviations,i encourage others also to do the same.

1.AAC: Assistive Augmentative Communication
It is a term for communicating using a pictures, images or recorded messages.

2. ABC: Applied Behavior Consultants
This term perplexed me initially as what this ABC is all about but now i know it is an important Organization centered in Sacramento.

3AC: Autistics and cousins
Acoustics are the people who have autism and cousins are those people who have not been formally diagonised with autism but do have some elements of it.

EFT with Dyspraxia

hi there,

I'm new to this and was hoping that someone out there might be able to share with me any success stories from working with adolescent offenders (male preferrably) . I'm hoping to feed any information back to my bosses and hopefully get them interested in training some of our staff. As you can probably guess my clients are the aforementioned young people, most of whom have complex emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. Although I personally can see huge benefits in applying EFT to their issues, my bosses might need some more convincing. So I'm sending this out with love light and laughter and await your responses.

Thanks. Peter.

infection that destroyed the skin and the soft tissues of his nose. He’s had
disaster upon disaster occur to him. He is incredibly shy and extremely
embarrassed by the bandage he always has on his nose.

I’ve tried so many times to reach this young man in the over a year that I’ve
known him. Yet he has always remained shy and distant. I would use the idea
of “Magic Fingers” and even one of the TappyBears in the hospital to teach
him EFT, but he would mostly watch and not participate. I didn’t know what
to do to reach him. One day I did the raffle I do to select which of the kids
with cancer will receive a TappyBear. Hector won. I gave him his Tappy not
knowing if he would use it but I showed him how anyway and sent him home
with it.

I didn’t see him for a couple of months, but something marvelous happened.
Upon seeing me, he gave me a big smile. He nodded a vigorous yes when
I asked if he likes his Tappy. He sleeps with him and won’t even share him
with his little sister because Tappy is his. He told me that he likes to
tap to tell his body to get better. He looks so cheerful that I almost
wondered if it was the same child.

When I asked him if he’d like to tap with me, his face lit up and he said
yes. I started tapping and he repeated out loud everything I said, which
is something he has never done before. There was trust in his eyes,
an openness and excitement to tap with me.

I am amazed and so pleased that receiving a TappyBear allowed him
to open to EFT and let his beautiful light shine. It is definitely worth
sharing a Tappy with a child even if you don’t know if they will use it.
You might get one of the nicest surprises of your life.

In case this inspires you to give a Tappy to a lovely child you know or
donate one to me to give to the kids with cancer, contact me.

You never know what magic might happen.
I have a younder son who has autism; 2. During my son's 1st. grade I went through a divorce.

I was hoping for some advise and some 'verbage' to help my son get over this reading challenge and get motivated to learn.

Thank you for your help!

Gifts from the Heart - from a 3 year old w cancer

I had a couple of lovely
experiences with Yair, a 3 year old with cancer. He doesn’t speak Spanish or
English or any language that is spoken in the hospital where he is being
treated. After time, lots of smiles, waves on my part, and tapping as I stand
near him, we have become friends. I gave him a Tappybear and now tap with the
bear saying words in Spanish that he doesn’t understand, but he likes the
attention.

            The other
day I came in and his Tappy was in his blue bag. He took the bag, opened it and
carefully paw by paw took Tappy out of it while I was sitting on his bed. He
handed him to me as if he wanted me to tap with him. I gladly obliged. I tapped
and talked about what a good boy he is while he laughed. He smacked the buttons
or just Tappy as I was tapping with him. It is his way of doing EFT with me.
Then he grabbed Tappy and gave him a big hug and me a big smile. My heart
melted as I could see that it was his way of telling me he was grateful for my
presence, my smiles, my attentions and that he had a lovely Tappy of his own.

            To top it
off today, as he was eating crackers in his hospital bed, he reached out his
hand with 5 crackers in it. He was offering them to me. I lifted one finger
indicated I only wanted one. He said NO and handed me all five, which I
gratefully took. He was showing me his generosity. The gifts of a child are so
special.

I a attended the fairly large group and wished I could step up and offer EFT

Today I have been a substitute teacher at a middle school. We have some beautiful new schools in this neighborhood in North Dallas, but there is also a lot of poverty, crime, drugs, and violence near by as well. I have lived in this area and I have experienced first hand what goes on here. I have had cars stolen and I have been threatened with guns to turn over property. This has happened to friends in this neighborhood also. There are a large number of students here who are refugees from countries at war. Some of those families were in refugee camps without schools before they moved here.

After school there was a meeting of parents and school employees concerned about suicides, drugs, gangs, and violence near by. I attended the fairly large group of concerned adults and wished I could step up and offer EFT as a solution to the many problems here as well as hope for moving out of the dungeons of life.

I have been studing EFT for several year, I have a degree in Psychology, and I have worked in a large variety of educational settings. I believe in EFT, but my actual practice is limited especially with regard to these type problems. But I am willing to jump in, if only for the borrowing benefits. The need is here in a big way, but where do I start?

Can you help?

All suggestions, thoughts, and prayers will be appreciated.

My grandchild has had a problem with taking things that don't belong to her for a couple of years now. The most recent was stealing a bracelet from a classmate at school. When we talk to her about it, she knows that it's wrong and that there will be consequenses for her actions, yet she continues. She doesn't seem to have any remorse about what she has done, even after she has been caught. We are at our wits end as to how to help this child and I am hoping someone else has had similiar experiences.

I would love to share a beautiful insight he had during an EFT tapping session.

We began tapping together to release his fears of an upcoming biopsy to find out "what he has in his tummy". He has a tumor in his abdominal area but he doesn't know that. The biopsy was to discover what kind and how extensive it is.

I find the kids I work with are afraid of surgeries in part because they don’t get an explanation of what is going to happen to them before, during and after the surgery. Yes, they hear that they are going to have a surgery, but understanding a few details has helped many children feel more comfortable with the process. As we tapped about the steps of the surgery his fears went away.

The following day he had his surgery. When I came in he was in his bed and gave me a smile and a big thumbs up. He said it went just like I said. It was obvious that knowing some of what would happen helped him realize that all of it was normal for a surgery.

We decided to tap some more about “what was in his tummy.” I asked him to close his eyes and “look” at what was in his tummy and describe it to me. He said there were little ugly balls. They were bad. They didn’t mean to be bad. After tapping, he told me that the balls didn’t feel bad anymore. I could see the relief on his face.

He told me that people who are sad and depressed feel ugly inside but it isn't the truth. They are beautiful. As he said it tears welled up in his eyes as he realized it was true for himself too. (Remember he has a tumor in his abdomen) I asked who told him this and he said no one, he just knew it. Again tears welled up in his eyes. I told him he is a wise man.

Doing EFT to release his fear of the surgery changed his experience of having a biopsy.
Even more so, I enjoy the insights that come as one does EFT, even if you are a young boy who just turned 13. Jesus is a wise young man indeed.

HeEEEEEEELLLLPPP!!!!!

MY 11 year old daughter was traumatized in her early years. Lately she has been increasingly aggressive and

verbally abusive. I started doing eft with her two days ago after a big blow out. She is somewhat reluctant to do eft..but

does comply. Today she had another major episode with screaming, yelling, banging, kicking, crying. I am wondering if eft sometimes

brings more emotion to the surface and if things get worse before they get better?
