But may i know what is this EFT?

Re: Working with teenage offenders

Hello Dave,

Glad to hear you sucessfully use EFT for anger and self esteem. Good work.

I have been asked to work on some new publications for young people that you may also wish to review or contribute to. They will focus on many young people issues, settings and flexible use of EFT.

Contact me and we can discuss our links as you suggest.

Best Wishes

I work for Connexions in oldham and am using EFT with young people. I have found it being particularly useful for anger and self esteem.

I have used it with young offenders and focussed on the triggers that lead to their offending behaviour.

I have also developed a set of card based resources and would be keen to exchange ideas and resources.

Regards

I would be delighted to fill you in with cases that I have been involved in and continue to be. EFT is so beneficial even in the most adverse of circumstances, personal histories and complex situations. The results are very often outstanding, permenant, very cost effective and empowering.

As well as working regularly with Pupil Referral Units for children and young people for individual and group work, and in behaviour support programmes in schools, I am also involved in a comprehensive training programme for a major County Council training their youth workers and counsellors who work daily with at risk young people.

Where are you based? I have case studies and specific training and resource material that I think you would find of interest.

Feel free to contact me.

I'm new to this and was hoping that someone out there might be able to share with me any success stories from working with adolescent offenders (male preferrably) . I'm hoping to feed any information back to my bosses and hopefully get them interested in training some of our staff. As you can probably guess my clients are the aforementioned young people, most of whom have complex emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. Although I personally can see huge benefits in applying EFT to their issues, my bosses might need some more convincing. So I'm sending this out with love light and laughter and await your responses.

Thanks. Peter.
