  • Re: Suggestions for kid's workshop

Hi Ed, You may want to make a short list of the issues that you believe the children face. I might suggest something like: anxiety, stage fright, physical limitations (for dance, perhaps being limber and relaxed), afraid they will make a mistake, etc.  Good luck. It would be great if  you can report back on how it went.
  • Re: surrogate tapping and autism

Hi Mark, Welcome to the group and to EFT! I recommend that you put the word "surrogate" into the search feature on the upper right of the forum page. I know that there have been lots of great postings on surrogate tapping. I have a number of clients who routinely use EFT surrogately for autism spectrum, and asperger's, as well ...
  • Re: help with bedwetting

Thank you for sharing your experience. I have also seen cases where embarrassment and fear are the most intense issues. Many children struggle the most when they are invited to spend the night with a friend. Addressing these emotions, as well as lack of control are key. Please report back on B/W's results.

  • Re: Set-up phrase and fear of doctors

Hi Iris, Christine has great advice and thanks, Christine for sharing your article again. For a young baby or toddler, I like to hold them and tap on myself when possible,  because I feel a stronger connection when they are in my energy field, however, this is not necessary. • Re: Fear of monsters and ghosts

Hi Charlene, I would recommend being persistant with your tapping. Tap several times per day. You might consider surrogate tapping at times when he does not want to do it and using some of these phrases: Even though...It is scary/I'm afraid/there's monsters or ghosts in here/someone wants to hurt us/I'm frustrated/I'm not ...

  • Re: Exam anxiety

Hi SallySue, I find it rather difficult to determine the amount to charge. My intention for speaking at a school is to get EFT out there so that the parents and children can learn it, so I charge what I consider to be a minimal fee. I think markets are different all over and I hear a very large range of speaking fees. For a local preschool ...
  • Re: Exam anxiety

I have found that many schools are more open to "listening" to you when you can help improve test anxiety, and ultimately test scores. Good luck with your plan and please report back and let us know how you approach them, and how it is received.  Also, it is NEVER too early to start teaching your son to tap. I taught my children ...
  • Re: Exam anxiety

Hi mindxb, Yes, EFT works wonderfully for test exam anxiety, and all the anxiety associated with not doing well on an exam. They can tap on: Even though I am axious about the exam/even though I will not get into the university if I don't do well/even though I feel so much pressure about the exam, etc.  Have them simply tap on ...
