Hi Marian,
Thank you so much for sharing your heart here on the forum. It sounds like quite a struggle.
I think that it is good to tap on yourself like you stated above. You may want to add, Even though:I feel really frustrated that I can't seem to find a way with this problem...I feel that some how I should be doing more or better or ...

Hi,
Sorry to hear about your nephew, and you are at the right place! EFT can help you and your family.
What I would recommend is surrogate tapping on yourself, as though you were your nephew. I have successfully used EFT with my 3 year old god daughter. Here is the story.
As Sue suggested, when you do it, you do it for your nephew's ...

Kamala is a sweet little three-year-old girl who happens to be my goddaughter. She has beautiful blue eyes just like her mother, Kristin. Last week, I took my granddaughter, Tessa, and met up with Kristin and Kamala at a toddler's swim class. After the class, we went into the hot tub, and then Kristin suggested that we all go play in the ...

Irit,
I am so happy to hear that he is fine! I guess we will never know for sure how much or if it helped. My take on it is that is did!!! If nothing else, it helped give you peace of mind. Enjoy your grandson. Being a grandparent is an experience that makes joy readily available.
Grateful to be of service and to be a grandma,
JoAnn

Hello Irit,
I am a grandma, too. I know that it can be difficult when our grandchildren are having problems and there doesn't seem like that there is much we can do, but we can (or the mother).
Have you tried tapping surrogately for your grandson. You don't even have to touch him when you do it. One way of doing it surrogately is to ...

Hi Cindy,
I just tapped along with your video (I'm 60), but my 7 year old had fun. I think that your video could be used as a great tool for elementary school kids. I think that high school kids would think that it is lame. Middle school kids--some yes, some, no--that is my guess.
I just answered a post to Kathy, whose granddaughter has ...

Kathy,
I was looking around on the eft4kids site and I found that someone has made a 7 minute long video for kids to learn how to do EFT. I don't know how old your granddaughter is, but if she is elementary school she might find it amusing. Anyway, I think that if she isn't a teenager (I think that it wasn't intended for old youth) ...

Hi Kathy,
EFT can help children better cope with ADD. Last month, a mother was referred to me by her therapist. The daughter was 11 years old. Anyway, to make a long story short, I tried to make EFT like a game. That was how I got her interest. I showed her how she could tap on herself when her brother picks on her. Anotherwords, I ...

I retired from teaching high school last year, and now do EFT from
home (mostly via phone and Skype). I never used EFT with the
entire class, however, I worked with individuals. The set-up phrase
that I used replaced, "I deeply and complete love and accept myself"
with "I am an OK kid" and sometimes "I am an ...
