I am a pediatrician and relatively new to EFT, as I have been mostly practicing the technique on myself.  I am interested in attempting surrogate tapping on those with communication difficulties, such as those on the autistic spectrum.  Could someone assist in talking me through the steps of surrogate tapping for autistic children,  perhaps focusing on a way to calm or open channels for communication ?

Welcome to the group and to EFT! I recommend that you put the word "surrogate" into the search feature on the upper right of the forum page. I know that there have been lots of great postings on surrogate tapping. I have a number of clients who routinely use EFT surrogately for autism spectrum, and asperger's, as well as many other "learning disabilities."
