Hi Kim, I am the mother of a high functioning autistic child, and although I don't know as much as I would like about EFT I know much more than I ever thought possable about autism. With out knowing the issues you are having with the child you are talking about, let me give you some ideas from what...

Caselyn has gut issues and was wondering what words you use. I am new to this and just begining and am not sure what to use. I know for her, short and sweet is the best! When she has migrains, she likes her head and back rubbed, so I do not think gentle tapping will be a problem. Thanks for all you suggestions...

I am currently working with my son, who is high functioning autistic, also with sensory issues, he does not like his face touched, let alone tapped on, so after some negoation we agreed I could tap on him once a day for a week and a half right before bed, I also have permission from him to surrogate...

  • Re: Questions

Hello Davlo, We have worked with one autistic boy. His mother has been taught EFT and does proxy tapping for him. She has been using it for about 2 months and feels that there have been noticeable changes in his behavior. He is calmer and better settled at his new school. She taps about 3 to 4 times...

Hi, Sandi Radomksi of AllergyAntidotes allergyantidotes.com has done work with autism. She's tied it to allergies and other sensitivities in the body and has a very detailed and insightful approach to looking at all of the biochemical contributors factors to autism. I highly recommend talking to...

I was wondering if anyone has work in these areas? My 8 yr. old granddaughter is both, as well and ODD and has sensory issues, with other problems. I am looking to find someway to help her without having to add more meds. or to have any more toxic reactions to meds or be over medicated. With all her...

  • Neurodevelopmental Problems Need an ND Solution

Hi Claire, Thank you for thinking of my daughter and I, and for suggesting resources. I appreciate your kind intention. You are probably right that there is no harm in tapping on various aspects of her reading because she already knows that not everything is working well for her. Mostly what I'm...

Hello Saralee, This may seem somewhat far afield of EFT, however, I think it is something you might consider. Perhaps and probably your child is an Indigo Child. My intention is not to use this forum to open up that kind of discussion, rather to expand the realm of possibilities. If you are unfamiliar...

Thank you--I really appreciate all the comments I've received, and you've all provided new insights to my son's situation. Although the psychologists haven't been able to pinpoint what's going on with him, it's probably a combination of both things--the attention and the sensory...

Hi Saralee, sounds more like attentional problems to me. If you think of social skills in terms of a radar that tells you where the other ships are and what they are up to, children with autism have to build the radar, children with attentional problems have to learn to look at the radar, that's...
