test anxiety (RSS)
  • Re: Beginning of School

I have been doing classroom guidance the past couple of weeks from K-5. I wanted to remind the students using about EFT this year. I took TappyBear with me, and it was fun to see how the students who have been here before (and already had met Tappy) responded. I had some of them explain to the new students...

  • Re: Exam anxiety

I have found that many schools are more open to "listening" to you when you can help improve test anxiety, and ultimately test scores. Good luck with your plan and please report back and let us know how you approach them, and how it is received. Also, it is NEVER too early to start teaching...

  • Re: Exam anxiety

Hi mindxb, Yes, EFT works wonderfully for test exam anxiety, and all the anxiety associated with not doing well on an exam. They can tap on: Even though I am axious about the exam/even though I will not get into the university if I don't do well/even though I feel so much pressure about the exam...

Hi Everyone, Here in Texas we are getting ready for the state mandated tests to be given this spring. Because at certain grade levels passing the tests is a requirement for advancing to the next grade or getting your high school diploma, there is a lot of stress involved for teachers, students and parents...

  • Re: eft in the classroom

Hi, Kim, What an awesome opportunity for you! I am sorry I am just now responding. I have been busy dealing with some family illness, but all is well at the moment. If you have already presented, I would love to hear how it went. If not, I have a few suggestions for you. The first thing I would do is...

  • 3rd Grader taps during Math Test

Hi All, I just worked with a 3rd grader who was applying EFT to himself during a math test. His test anxiety was coming back and he got paralyzed to a point where he couldn't write. He remembered our tapping session and went through all the points as far as he recalled them. While tapping on his...

  • Re: Teachers and administrators

Kenneth, When I first spoke to my administrator, I introduced EFT as a tool that I have been using to relieve the stresses in my life.I mentioned this several times, showed her the videos, and even took personal time to attend an EFT training with Gary Craig. She was able to see that my interest in EFT...

  • Re: Teaching EFT to elementary kids prior to the AIMS tests

Well, there were a combination of things that had occurred throughout the year; one 5th grade teacher was very receptive to EFT throughout the whole year. Obviously, these kids were at an advantage. Also, I had a weight loss group for staff throughout part of the year. These teachers had also been sporadically...

  • Welcome also to school counselors

School counselors are in an excellent position to use EFT with children. And nothing, in my experience, works better for children than EFT. Whether the issue is separation anxiety, test anxiety, grief, anger or anyone of a number of other things, EFT is so beneficial. As a school counselor myself, I...
